HORSEBACK RIDES

OPEN YEAR ROUND!

Come enjoy an afternoon riding through the Shenandoah mountains with cool shaded trees, crossing a creek and riding alongside a waterfall. When riding at the ranch, guests enjoy the tranquil setting of the woods, often spotting wildlife such as bears, turkeys, deer or raccoons. Our horses are fitted for beginner riders and we have options for all ages. Rides take off directly from the ranch and follow our trail into the beautiful national forest.

Prices of rides vary from $60 - $500 per rider and are subject to change without notice. ​

Forest Trail Rides

Reservation & Cancellation Policy

Trail Ride Policies

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled ride time.
This allows ample time for check-in, waiver completion, helmet fitting, and a mandatory safety orientation. To ensure rides depart on schedule, late arrivals may not be accommodated.

Cancellations​

  • All sales are final.

  • No refunds or cancellations will be issued for late arrivals, missed rides, or canceled reservations.​

Weather Policy

Trail rides operate in most weather conditions, including rain and snow. Because our horses and wranglers are prepared specifically for each scheduled ride, we do not cancel rides due to typical weather. For the safety of our guests and staff, rides may be delayed by up to 30 minutes in the event of thunderstorms or other severe weather. If conditions remain unsafe, we will determine the appropriate course of action at that time.

Dress Code: Closed toe shoes and long pants are required.
